So most of you might've known about Clash of Clans. It's an android game released on the 13th June 2013. Its a simple game that falls into the strategy category but just because it's simple doesn't mean it's AWESOME! You are a chief of a medieval village which is yours to control. With a helper you journey through your way, attacking other people's villlages building defenses, upgrading walls, gaining trophies.
It doesn't have exactly the best graphics(you'll see what i mean when you download this game on pc), and if you zoom in, their faces are a bit weird but you have to cut slack since it would use up a lot of wifi and lag if you have strong graphics. It's isometric 2D which was disappointing(because i've always wanted to see what the villages see in my village or play as a barbarian king smashing down foes with my mighty sword) but then again it IS pretty hard to programme and develop a game. As you go through the game, you can join or create clans. In these clans, you can chat, ask for troops and show others replays giving this game the edge. Another thing that i loved about this game was the fact that you could compare your stats with people around the world making it more challenging and much more competitive.
As you level up your townhall, you can upgrade defenses, army bases, collectors and traps making the game more interesting. But once you get a level 10 town hall, the game becomes a lot more architectural. The cons of this game is the fact that there is a limit to how many things you can build or upgrade in this game which ended up to a more tedious moment where all you were doing were training troops instead of showing off you new level 12 archer tower or your new maze that you did using walls.
In conclusion, it's a nice game that requires brainwork(not too much brainwork to bore you), patience and skills. And it's got that concept which makes you want to come back to it over and over again for example when you want to test out a high level troop.
Pros: It's fun, competitive, social and simple with a nice concept.
Cons:It need wifi, the graphics and animations could've been improved.
Rating: 8.5/10
